11.11.2014 at 07.00 BK11 WHD a lorry with Synseal markings simultaneously parked on Yellow and Pedestrian Zig-Zag Lines. 15 minutes later I reported it to 101. The lorry remained there until 07.46, a Police car drove past one hour after the initial report at 08.16
So despite being informed of a clear breach of The Law and a serious hazard to public safety Manor Road Police Station took an hour to respond. Manor Road Police Station is less than a mile a way. But this is exactly the same response that we have had for ten years. As far as I know, in the past ten years, Manor Road Police Station has never issued a single fine to N&P or Synseal for obstruction. Not even when a Synseal lorry was parked for 90 minutes on this Yellow Line.
But this is repeated very week. Wirral Borough Council and the Police are well aware of this dangerous parking, but seemingly have deliberately chosen to not enforce The Law.
I am confident that if you or I parked every Tuesday around 07.00 on a yellow line, on a blind bend, outside a Post Office for up to (and sometimes over) an hour we would be prevented from doing so.
It looks like some people can break the law. Every week a Synseal lorry will arrive sometime between 05.30 and 07.30 and park on a Yellow line, on a blind curve, outside the Post Office on the junction of Rugby and Wallasey Road whilst it delivers to N&P Windows. Over many months Manor Road Police Station and Wirral Borough Council have been repeatedly informed of this and the associated dangerous work practises (separate post still in preparation). But apparently with official sanction these companies continue to operate without a care in the world.
This is happening because N&P Windows are using Wallasey Road and Rugby Road as a loading bay for their factory. The factory that should be on an industrial estate. We are being deliberately endangered for the directors profits, and it looks like they have official collusion.
This triptych shows how far a vehicle has to drive out of Rugby Road before it can see the oncoming traffic
This is from youtube
Seemingly the general public need hard hat and safety boots just to visit the local Post Office.
This lengthy (4.28), three part, silent video shows what appears to be the negligent work practises of two companies. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duty_of_…) N&P Windows, Wallasey and their supplier Synseal.
11/11/2014 at 07.00 a Synseal lorry (BK11 WHD) is parked on a Zig-Zag and Yellow line for over 45 minutes whilst unloading into N&P Windows, Wallasey.
Wirral Borough Councill, Police and HSE, Local Councillors and our MP all have been advised innumerable times of this public danger, this is not a one off event, and that it happens every week, it persists with full knowledge of the local authorities. Local officialdom turns a blind eye to ensure Hardman’s profits. Wirral Borough Council and Manor Road Police Station have repeatedly refused to take preventative or corrective action to prevent the dangers presented by this factory.
This event was recorded on 11 November 2014. The Synseal lorry (BK11 WHD) arrived at 07.00 and left at 07.46. The local Police (Manor Road Police Station Wallasey) were informed at 07.16 that a lorry was parked on zig-zag and yellow line, outside a newsagents/Post Office, on a blind bend, on a busy road and was likely to be there for another 30 minutes. They were advised (for the umpteenth time) that the factory, N&P Windows, Wallasey was dangerously using Rugby Road and Wallasey Road as an extension of their factory and treating it as a loading bay.
One hour after the initial call a Police car drove past at 08.16.
Manor Road Police station is 0.8 miles away.

Dickensian practises in the 21st Century
25-11-2014 N&P Windows Ltd, Wallasey continue to use a residential street as an extension and loading bay for their factory.
This video is showing a lorry being unloaded into N&P’s factory. The lorry BK11 WHD belongs to Synseal. Synseal lorries invariably park on the yellow line, on the blind bend, outside the Post Office in this residential area whilst it is being unloaded. For a short while the driver also assisted in the unloading.
Unloading took from 06.10 to 07.56.
The Police were again advised (06.34) and again failed to act in the following 80+ minutes.
A video in two sections.
Dangerous and out of control delivery of 20ft lengths of PVC into a factory that is located in a residential area. Located alongside families and local shops. Then we can see the actions of the factory workers as they use the road and pavement as an extended loading bay for the factory. Finally an example of the danger this factories vehicles present to schoolchildren.
